Fallout 76 Brotherhood of Steel – How to Join Faction How to join Brotherhood of Steel in FO76?For the first step, you’ll have to go to the north part of the Mire and look for Abby’s Bunker. Once you’re in, go to the little corridor to the left of the common area nad use the terminal there. It should contain a note about Fort Defiance. You’ll then have to find the fort – it’s in the southeast of the map, near Cranberry Bog.When you get there, go inside and head to the top floor of the right part of the building. You’ll have to look for a switch that opens the locked door. Head over to the top floor of the left part of the building next.

Share Fallout 4: Brotherhood of Steel quests. Accept your first quests as an official member of the Brotherhood of Steel. Nov 27, 2015  Eeeh, they are more Brotherhood than the Brotherhood was in Fallout 3, following values closer to the original West Coast Brotherhood(just think the Mojave Chapter, they were a textbook original Brotherhood, even if they were cut off from the California branch). Sorry to break it to you but brotherhood is not evil or good in anyway.

There’s a locked elevator there, that only opens up if you have a government ID.You can get one by joining the army at Camp McClintock – there may be other way, but we didn’t try them. If you haven’t done it, simply go to the camp and talk to a robot called Quartermaster Gutsy – this will get things rolling.Next up, head on over to Charleston (southweast part of the map) and look for the DMV building. As you enter, look for a terminal to the left. Use it and choose the first option. This will give you a simple quest chain which you need to complete in order to get the military ID. Once you have that, you can return to Fort Defiance and use the terminal on the top floor of the left side of th building to join teh faction. After you’ve joined, you’ll be allowed to use the elevator to enter the faction’s quarters.

    Brotherhood Of Steel Ranks

If you’ve been playing for two days straight, you likely know that the journey through the Commonwealth is all about making as many, or as few, allies as possible before everything comes to a head towards the end of the narrative. One of the best factions to have on your side is the Brotherhood of Steel, and while this group is largely made up of futuristic racists, there’s a ton of cool resources for you to use on their flying base, the Prydwen. Bear in mind that the Brotherhood of Steel is not particularly fond of the Institute, so there is going to come a point where you’re unable to hang out with both of these groups.

Still, once you have found the Brotherhood during the early portions of the campaign, it will prove an invaluable resource in your quest to become as powerful as possible.During the early stages of Fallout 4’s campaign, you’ll come across a quest titled ‘The First Step,’ which causes a location dubbed the Corvega Assembly Plant to appear in the top-right section of your map. Bear in mind that you don’t actually have to obtain The First Step in order to discover the Corvega Assembly Plant, but it’s going to make things far easier than simply wandering around in the general area shown in the image below. While the Brotherhood of Steel is not located at Corvega, you will pick up a distress signal around this building that points you to the Cambridge Police Station (which is roughly in the center of the map in the section right outside of Boston).

Fallout 4 is an extremely open game, so there is a chance that you might just stumble upon the Cambridge Police Station during your trek to Diamond City early on in the main campaign, depending on if you take a wide Eastern turn or not. Still, having this location pop up on your map thanks to the distress signal in your Pip Boy’s radio definitely will make things a lot easier.Once you arrive at the Cambridge Police Station, you’ll find a bunch of strange soldiers in power armor fighting off hoardes of Ghouls. By helping this heavily-armored group of soldiers fight off this irradiated threat, you’re going to be able to obtain the Call to Arms quest by talking to Paladin Danse, the leader of the Cambridge branch of the Brotherhood of Steel. This quest, which doesn’t really involve any trickery outside of going to a location, clearing out the enemies residing there and bringing back an item, is your ticket into the Brotherhood of Steel, and more importantly, the Prydwen. After going to ArcJet Systems in Call to Arms and obtaining a Deep Range Transmitter, you’ll get the option to become a Brotherhood Knight, and perhaps more importantly, receive Righteous Authority, Danse’s trusty laser rifle.
